A permanent exhibition of photographs and old documents of Dowlatabad Garden, the architectural jewel of Iran’s Yazd, is set up to introduce and preserve the historical monument.

The exhibition entitled ‘Dowlatabad Garden Over Time’ includes a collection of photographs and documents of the garden's restoration over 50 years.

It also shows several thousand years of civilization, so that tourists learn more about the process of construction, repair and preservation of the historical site besides taking a walk in the garden and visiting world's tallest wind tower.

Being among the 9 Iranian Gardens which are collectively registered as one of Iran’s 17 registered UNESCO World Heritage Sites under the name of the Persian Garden in 2011, Dolat Abad consists of a pavilion that was built according to the original Iranian architectural style and a large garden and some other buildings.

Dowlat Abad Garden is also renowned for having Iran’s tallest badgir (the wind tower), that is conceivable from miles away. This traditional air-conditioning system of local houses around the desert in Iran is the essential elements at the residential structures.
